Description

So you've just finished creating a PowerPoint presentation to explain the wonders of your research at a conference, or to show students how clever you are in a lecture.

How do you know your audience is going to stay awake, or stay focussed enough to understand your message?

In this session, we'll look at how to create a PowerPoint presentation that works and won't bore your audience to death. We will explore the basic principles of successful visual communication and look at some appalling examples that need to be redesigned quick smart.
